These are a few poems about bullying and other hard topics. I know that a lot of us get tired of constantly hearing about bullying and attending assemblies but the truth is that it's a serious matter. If you're not interested then don't read the poems. As always I'm open to feed back.

Alison moved to a new town as her father got a new job, simultaneously, she decided to hide her dark past, starting a new chapter of her complicated teenage life. She tucked her auburn hair tighter into a bun and searched for the next class when she passed a group of boys right outside the designated class. Clutching her hand inside the sweatshirt pocket, she watched as the bulky brown haired boy slammed his fist against the wall right beside the poor boy's face, glaring as the boy flinched, slumping his head further down. "What are you looking at!" He snapped, noticing the unfamiliar girl stood watching them. "Is this rude guy bothering you?" She ignored, asking the poor boy instead, earning a scoff from the baffled brown haired boy. Their first encounter was of mutual dislike. As they continue to bicker and argue on every possible occasion, Jason could not help but felt rather intrigued with Alison. Hidding behind her thick glasses, her enticing blue eyes captured his interest with secrets he wished to unfold. A story about bullying, friendship, falling in love and overcoming problems. What if you committed suicide one day. After just one horrible day that set you off. You know, the bullies and the mean classmates who want to help but don't. And your crush refuses to help you one night. What if another woke up months later with no memory? You don't know who you are, nothing seems familiar. All you know is that something draws you to a boy who died months ago right before school ended. A lot of people care that he is dead, they feel responsible. Another boy catches your attention and you can't help but feel something for him. What if he's the answer to your problem but he won't talk about the dead boy? What if he does? The Overshared And Underappreciated Mind Of A Hopeless Romantic
Writing has always been a secret indulgence. It's something I keep to myself most days and it will continue to be something I share with very few people. Bound in these flimsy plastic rings is a brief rundown of me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Nothing in here is terribly out of the ordinary for a teen girl who grew up before she was supposed to. A girl whose life was never hers to live. A lot of the time, I never know what's going on. I find it helpful to write down what I don't understand to try and make sense of the world around me. Writing these pieces has helped me find peace in my life. This class has proven more cathartic than I thought. That being said, there are some topics that can be sensitive here. I've starred the titles that could be triggering for some in the table of contents. If you are bothered by mentions of: abuse, self harm, or talks about mental health and illnesses, I suggest avoiding the starred titles.
