In my 2012 Literature class we study the theme of Vision and Blindness in the Sophocles play, 'Oedipus the king,'
This story is inspired by this. When a young girl wakes up in the hospital and is said to have been the driver in the car crash, she stuggles to retrieve her memory of the awful night. No one well tell her what happened and believe her ignorance is a blessing in disguise, but this girl refuses to move forward with out knowing what she has forgotten.
