Before humans ever existed, the Guardians were the most profound thing in the universe. Everyone roamed free, and they lived well. Most Guardians lived to be one byr long, some even longer than that! After many, many, many, many years, humans formed. While Guardians didn't primarily live on Earth, they quickly realized that humans were terrifying. As a result, most of them left. Most Guardians still roam the rest of universe and thrive, a few scattered ones stayed. Most Guardians formed packs, to keep things more in order. Now, at least 100 packs live around the Earth. These are only fractions of the real packs, which add up to tens of thousands of members. In these packs on Earth, there are at least 50 members. In Japan, there is one pack. Their Guardian name is "Blue Moon", but to disguise their true nature, all of the pack members have the surname Kamaeru. All of the members go by Japanese names, but they have Guardian names as well. Kurakami is the third eldest child of the pack leaders. She attends school with the humans, and while she gets along with them, she can't help but feel a little alone.
