When Dana spends a summer vacation with her parents by the sea before returning to college, she befriends beautiful Claudia and her husband John. It comes as a shock when he kisses her in the solitude of the dunes. Back home in Montana, the shock is even greater when she sees her almost-lover in an unexpected place: on TV. Soon after, she stumbles over his presence at a club. Will they become more than friends? Dana's heart tells her that she wants more. But what about Claudia? And does she dare to love a movie star?

"Kiss and tell" takes you on a roller coaster ride of love and doubt as Dana, a student in her twenties, tries to figure out if she dares to give in to her feelings for an aspiring actor who is her senior by 13 years. Why does he spend time with her at all? And most important: Why did he kiss her when his wife is the most beautiful and nicest person she has ever met?

Only time will tell if his love for her is true and if she excepts the inevitable truth about her own feelings.

"A guy isn't going to care if you're laughing with a dude," he said. "You laugh with friends. You do this with someone who is more than friends." Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated. Enter Wolf. He's the son of her parents' best friends, who happen to share a connecting lake condo. Savannah hasn't seen Wolf in two years since he stopped coming on family vacations. He's notorious for trouble, the exact opposite of Savannah. Wolf shows up one day and suggests that they pretend to be in a relationship during their two week vacation. He's convinced that his mom's adoration of "good girl" Savannah will change her mind about his recent house arrest. In exchange, Wolf suggests Savannah can use their fake relationship to lure Tripp back by making him jealous. Savannah is hesitant, but is just desperate enough for Tripp's attention that she agrees. Spending time with Wolf on their pretend dates becomes a problem when Savannah begins to have feelings for him. After all, Wolf is off limits. Her best friend has a major crush on him, and Savannah is supposed to be with someone sensible like Tripp, not the lead singer of the high school rock band, Wolf and the Midnight Shepherds. In the end, Savannah will need to decide if falling for Wolf is worth the consequences.
