This story takes place after Episode 9: Rise Of Skywalker and may contain spoilers.
This is the third book in a series. It is written in a way where you can read it by its self, however; it highly recommended to at least read the second book Searching For You Episode 2. If you choose not to you may not feel a strong connection to some of the characters.
Ani, Hanz, and Lucas have begun bickering as all siblings due. However when a crucial mistake leads to the death of one of the three of them; Rey falls into the hands of the Darkside. Can this family pull it together long enough to defeat the real puppet master behind everything? Or will they end up watching one another kill each other off?

Star Wars Episode IX: Duel of the Fates

Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit. There are many items and powers that exist in TROS that I personally do not feel make sense, so they will be omitted (The dagger, lightspeed skipping, Anakin's saber, to name a few). Reylo fanfic based on ideas for Episode 9 The rebels could first flee to a safe place and start rebuilding themselves. Rey and Kylo / Ben continue to have a strong connection but try to suppress or ignore them as both believe the other is lost. Then Leia dies and the dead of his mother plunges Ben into a crisis. Hux takes advantage of this moment, takes the power and tries to kill Ben. This one can escape badly injured. Rey is also weakened by Ben's lethal injury and finds out through the research in the jedi's books that she and Ben are inextricably linked by the Forcebond originally created by Snoke....
