The first chapter of a story I had the idea to start writing, based on a bunch of bug-human hybrid characters I thought had much more potential. It takes place in Estellar, a world much like Earth, but with magic and a little further into the future. Animal-human hybrids have been created, but are not accepted by the society of regular humans, so they were banished to a specific plot of land, where we follow their daily lives before the fall.
