- Possessiveness often stem's from insecurities related to attention styles. People with attachment anxiety tend to have a negative view of themselves and a positive view of others.

Both of the last definition are the one I would use to define the situation I've hopelessly dragged myself in with no way out. I could find no light at the end of the dark hole of utter and complete obsession, desire and lust for the one woman that will have my heart hell bound.
