They where very close friends, that's when Prince Marshall at the age 8 told Princess Fionna at the age 7, how he felt about her, she felt the same way and they started to go out; witch was forbidden because he was a vampire. Even though their Kingdoms had peace together; Marshall Mother would not allow them to go on dating (she will not allow forbidden love in her Kingdom.)
