What if you could go back and do it all over again? What if you could have a better family? What if you could do it over it while still being able to remember all of your past mistakes and successes? Would you do it even if it meant doing it from a completely different perspective? Would you?... This is the story of Alex Sheridan, who lived by most, a successful life. He gets a second chance at happiness after a tragic accident where he is reborn in the body of a teenage girl, and has to start all over again. After he is Reborn he begins the slow process of accepting and learning who he/she really is. As the story progresses she will learn a thing or two about herself and what she wants in life. This is also a story about what I hope is a very real family. This story does contain some cursing, some spankings, and a fair amount of craziness that you would find in a normal family. Riona. In case you haven't guessed by now, that's me. This is my story. And I'm going to start from the very beginning, so you can get the full picture. They say we're not defined by our past. But I believe that the past is what makes you who you are. It moulds you. It sticks with you no matter how far ahead in life you get. And then, it catches up to you, putting you in a chokehold you can't possibly get out of. In my case, my past is very messy. I don't like it, but I also can't seem to shake it off. Almost ten years down the line, and I'm still in the same position, making the same decisions. I thought I'd changed. I thought I was better. Little did I know, that I was just building up to get worse. I'm not like most people, I don't function the same way you do but I believe that it is for the best. Have you ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Seen all the good memories with you and your friends and loved ones just pass in a few split seconds before the moment comes where you know you'll die? Where you determine if it's going to be a quick or slow and painful death? Well then, same. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better.
