In an African tribe where strength and power gave prestige and status there was a lowly orphan boy who had no strong clan family backing, connections and potential. The only ability he had was playing the drums left to him as an inheritance by his dead clans people. He meets the chief's daughter and falls in love. But can their love survive in a society where the strong can walk side ways whilst the weak are trampled?
