Mein Leben stand Kopf als ich herausfand wer ich wirklich war. Ein Brief, eine Entscheidung und die traf mein Onkel. "Du bleibst bei mir" und dann zog ich weg. Im Nacken sitzen mir Onkel Werner, Tante Lucinda und mein Cousin Daniel. Als mich aber Henry holte und mir die Wahrheit meiner Eltern erzählte war ich nicht mehr der alte.

Eine Geschichte von einer unglaublichen Rettung zweier Freunde und zwischen drin ein großes Problem. "Renfield was du tust ist falsch", das waren die letzten worte Vlad Petters verstorbenen Eltern die in Wirklichkeit umgebracht wurden aber ausgerechnet er damals ein kleines Baby überlebte.

He yelled in my face gritting his teeth. "How'd you even make it here?" I tried to take my hand away but he didn't allow me. "What do you want from me, Dmitri?" I asked. I was shocked at how confident yet quiet voice sounded. "What do I want?" He bellowed. "You're a human, vermin. This is the vampire world. I don't expect you have any need in this world. I WANT you to get out, stay away from this place, the castles, the people. Austin. Stay away from him." But, why did I became the ten years old main villain's kidnapper? and why did I suddenly got involved with the father of the main villain in the novel? What's with this novel I wrote? Why did the plot change into this?
