Fate.
Fate is a word that I always thought was a disgusting lie. A disgusting lie that would bring the hopes of others up, only for it to fall back down and shatter.
She made me think that my love for her was perfect, as if she was the candle and I the flame. A perfect greed that would fill my hopes little by little every second.
If I knew that she would be gone forever, I wouldn't have made those my last words. Ever since that day, I swore to myself that I wouldn't let her go if I see her again.
And I would protect her, even if it cost the lives of others.

How cruel Fate's hand is, to give us love and then rip it away. I was born in the wrong time, and fate gave me a chance to live in the time I was meant to. It was the greatest and yet most painful thing that has ever happened to me. I met someone, who loved me when I was most broken. I was terrified of being truly loved by someone. He showed me I didn't have to be. He was the bravest person I've ever known. He died for love.

Fate is a magical being in the universe that no one can understand. Is it meant to help us or just cause chaos? Will it lead to a happy ending or to our worst nightmares? So far, Diana believes that Fate has it out for her. As a child, she had a great life before Fate played its part. Now all she knows is pain and confinement.
