Everything was dark except for the white glow of the winter snow, nothing to be heard but the soft howl of the wind. Once again Eliea incountered 'the winter ghost' as she called it. The owl stayed parched on the branch every day since she could remember; of course that was before it all started. Eliea Pierce 17th birthday should have been the day to be remembered. Days before her birthday Eliea is having strange dreams and it seems every where she turns she see's "the winter ghost". When she finds a half dead bunny, she has the need to touch it; what she does next could not be forgotten. This encounter changes everything she has ever known, and will continue to change her in many different ways. Eliea will have a birthday to remember, perhaps not in the way she's anticipated.
