[Read at your own risk. Doesn't exactly conform to the storyline. Has triggers such as physical, emotional and mental abuse, cussing, violence, alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, depression, and smut, gore, and horror elements. I do not own Bungie or its characters or some scenarios, just the ones I come up with. This story is told from different POV's. ]

	"I've shown you benevolence, Guardian. Should the Awoken ever need an ally, I will call on you. And expect you to answer." Mara Sov said. Uldren sheathed his knife.
	"She's saying you owe us, Guardian." Uldren said with a bit of a growl, looking at her with dislike.
	"I understand. Your Grace" she said, bowing her head before turning to leave, two corsairs escorting her out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She's known by many names. The things she's done are terrifying, monstrous even.
Unstable. Unpredictable. Untamed. Unruly. Untrustworthy.
 Murderer
That's what many say about her. Yet some see her as a hero.
Cayde is trying to convince her and the others different. He sees good in her.
Uldren Sov hated her guts but gradually came to like her. He's trying to convince himself it's nothing.
Mara Sov...she has a plan. And the Guardian is at the center of it.
Everything was destroyed and this was known as the Collapse. Humanity would've become extinct if the Traveler hadn't of sacrificed itself, pushing back the Darkness with its Light. And with the last of the Traveler's strength, it created Ghosts, little mechanical beings to search for deceased people who are capable of wielding the Light as a weapon. Ghosts resurrect these people from the dead and they protect what's left of humanity with their powers. These people are known as Guardians. This story is told from a Ghost's point of view who's Guardian is a trigger happy Hunter. Her Light is strong but her soul defiant. Forged in the Light yet desired by the Darkness. [!!CW!! abuse of drugs and alcohol, graphic depiction of violence and gore] "'Please,' he breathed shakily. I looked into his other hand and he was holding his pistol. One, identical to mine only that it was engraved with his signature. I shook my head frantically, more sounds exiting my mouth. 'No... no. No!' I whined as he held out the gun with all his strength. I couldn't. I wouldn't! 'Please, don't make me do this,' I continued whining, refusing to take the pistol from his hand. 'Please,' he just breathed again and I finally took the heavy metal into the hand that wasn't holding onto his other. It was already loaded. I heard the mechanisms click as I placed the barrel a few inches away from the space between his eyes. He closed his eyes, squeezing my hand tighter which was getting very sweaty. 'At least I'll say hi to mom and dad,' he laughed, spitting blood in the process. Before I could break down completely, I pulled the trigger, the deafening shot making my ears ring. I closed my eyes and looked away, only feeling his hand twitch open for a second and then falling onto his lifeless stomach. I gave out a painful moan. 'I love you, my treasure...'" "You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.
Through Time and Light [Cayde-6 Fanfiction]
30 parts Complete
The story follows Olivia ("Liv"), a dedicated Destiny 2 player who feels an unspoken connection with Cayde-6, the charming, rogue-ish Hunter Vanguard. After one particularly long night of playing and rewatching the cinematic where Cayde meets his tragic end, Liv falls asleep wishing she could change his fate. When she wakes up, she finds herself no longer in her bedroom but in the Tower of the Last City, with the same Guardian armor she chose in the game. Realizing she's now in the Destiny 2 universe, Liv is overwhelmed but soon determined to find Cayde-6. Along the way, she discovers she's been granted the powers of a Guardian, but there's more to her sudden arrival. She has a special connection to the Traveler, which has sent her on a mission: to stop the cataclysmic events that lead to Cayde's death. As Liv fights alongside Cayde, she finds herself falling for him in ways she never thought possible, even though she knows his tragic fate looms over them. Torn between her growing feelings and the pressure of preventing the inevitable, Liv must navigate this universe, face powerful enemies, and defy time itself to rewrite Cayde's fate. The closer they grow, the harder the battles become, not just with the enemies they face but within herself. Can she save him without unraveling the very fabric of the universe? Or will her love lead to consequences far worse than what she sought to prevent?
