Despite the many mysteries that surrounded the Downs Twins; the bright blue hair, to the question of their parentage, there were some facts that were to be known. 
1) They were the most intelligent people of their generation, both in the wizard world and muggle.
2) they were two of four people that had the biggest knowledge of Hogwarts castle and grounds
3) they were both incredibly beautiful
4) They were dangerous in every way. 
But with all this, the biggest mystery that surrounded them was how they ended up on different sides of the war and where their true loyalties lie.
