I just transferred to a new school full of magic users.
due to something that happened at my old school.
I wasn't that ecstatic because I had left ALL of my friends to be here.
my drunk mom yelled at me to hurry.
I put on a t-shirt and jeans.
I ran down the stairs.
grabbed my toast and bolted out of the door.
I got to class and tried (keyword: tried) to introduce myself
before could even say my name the teacher gave the class a smirk
and asked what are your powers?

Book one in the Bloodsworn trilogy So here's how life used to go: We'd go to school, study, have fun, fight the occasional hunter or two, and mostly deal with everyday highschool drama.
