The story of Urokodaki's children was a secret until one would be lucky enough to encounter the hand demon and make it out alive to tell the tale. Years have passed since the demon's defeat and the souls of the children could finally rest with ease. Despite this, Tomioka Giyuu, one of the most powerful demon slayers in the corp, still feels the emptiness of his dead friend Sabito. Half of his haori was dedicated to his friend but, no one has ever wondered what happened to the other half of the same pattern. On one fateful day, Tomioka had taken a mission to defeat another demon when he met a girl who wore the other half of his friend's pattern. He then remembered another piece of himself that he had lost and forgotten.

This is a sick/injured Giyuu fic inspired by others like this. Inspired by many fanfictions mostly the ones that had a very Sad Giyuu. Tomioka Giyuu is one of the strongest Pillars in the Demon Slayer Corps. He has a silent but deadly persona and isn't known for talking to others, gaining him no friends among the Hashira. But what happens when the Pillar gets sick and his secrets that he hid from the other Pillars and his sensei get revealed. Especially when a very familiar face from Tomioka's past comes back from the shadows.
