Fire in the Rain

"Have you ever watched a fire in the rain? Most of the time they go out. Suffocated by the water, all that is left is smoke. The smoke is then caught up in the wind. By the time the rain is done, there is nothing left of the fire but drowned ash. The ash is eventually weathered down by the winds and rains to come till it's claimed by the earth. But... every now and then, there is a flame that won't be put out. A spark that catches just right and it grows, in spite of the drowning rain. The wind, trying to beat it down, only fueling it. It catches, grows, and spreads, claiming everything in its path. That is this feeling. I can't explain it any more clearly than that."
