When The World Was At Our Feet

If only the stars aligned in perfect connections every day,
If only water stood perfectly still for a second every day
If only the wind would calm for two seconds,
but if it did what would it be of use
It's like asking for the Earth to stop rotating
We would all fall apart.
But we can't ask for too much
the world couldn't always be at our feet.
