Dumbledore never died, neither did Remus, Sirius, Tonks, Fred, Dobby, Hedwig, or Cedric. No one died trying to protect Harry. Because he was with Petunia and Vernon when Voldemort chose to attack. He didn't attack Lily or James because he knew Harry wasn't there. He never imagined that they would send Harry to his muggle family, but later he attacked when Harry was being babysat by a friend of Lily and James' (where he got the scar and became famous).
Dumbledore decides to resort the students in Harry's year, and things immediately spiral out of control. Harrys sorted into Slytherin and ends up rooming with Draco, and Hermione gets resorted into Ravenclaw while Ron stays in Gryffindor. But Harry finds out that Blaise Zabini fancies Ron, and he starts to wonder if Malfoy fancies him -but maybe he's just going crazy.

What if Harry wasn't the golden boy everyone thought? What if his world of Hogwarts changes forever? Harry Potter was excited for school to start for his fifth year. When Harry turns 11, he goes into an early creature inheritance (Creature Inheritance in this book is when you turn 14, but because Harry went into his, Draco did as well, Tom already had his) and breaks everything of what Dumbledore had put him on, so Dumbledore is in for a surprise when Harry is put in Slytherin and becomes the mate of not only Draco Malfoy but also Tom Marvolo Riddle and Dumbledore is very surprised to see that Lily and James Potter are still alive and on the dark side, Sirius is freed and reunited with his 2 best friends one of which is his mate.
