Alex is a 16, almost 17 year old junior in highschool. Like most girls her age, she's got money, looks, and good grades, aka the perfect life. But even perfect lives aren't 100% drama or trouble free. She soon discovers things that make her wonder. Was her life ever so perfect at all?
When Alex discovers truths that could bring her family close, or rip them apart, will she keep them hidden, or try to bring light to a very dark situation?
She finds herself in the midst of a battle, but this is simply a battle. The war has yet to come. When it does will she push through, or will she surrender? I know it sounds fairly easy, but it gets tricky when dealing with secrets.
(Excerpt)
Hmm. I thought for a moment before writing down 'pros' and 'cons' on a price of paper.
I was trying to stay positive for the sake of my family, but honestly, it's harder than it looks.
I have just turned 17 and found out that we are going to be moving on the same day. I'm not thrilled but it could be worse, I guess.
Just then, I get a call, and answer it without looking at the ID.
"Hello?"
"How in the world did that happen? Are they okay?!"
"Oh my gosh! I'm on my way!"
I immediately hung up and started getting ready. Looks like the moving process just got sped up to today.

EDITING IN PROCESS
Please bare with me. I am currently working on another book: BBDDNGR? This is time consuming when added to my Song Lyrics book, house work, keeping up with a child, and school, but I hope that everyone likes the new, edited version. I am so excited! 💜🖤💙

They met in their second year of BBA.
She was the quiet, no-nonsense girl who preferred her own company and a Cold coffee.
He, on the other hand, was the boy who lit up every room he entered, with a smile so bright it could melt anyone's mood. Somehow, the two opposites became friends.
Abhay's cheerful jokes and carefree nature always managed to bring out Naina's hidden smiles, while Naina's sarcastic remarks kept him on his toes. But as they spent more time together, Naina realized that maybe it wasn't just friendship.
And Abhay? Well, he'd been falling for her grumpy side all along. Will Naina let down her walls and see what's in front of her, or will she push Abhay away, thinking they're just too different?"
