"Vibes" by Evan Davidson is a collection of original, semi-cringe poems that were written between the original quarantine period through this past year. Each and every one of them was birthed through times of hurt, heartbreak, angst, and confusion. we are teenagers who fight. shit happens we lie;we cheat;we feel the study pressure;we fall in love and end up with a broken heart. we bitch about the bitches-drink till we pass out. Hardships are faced and loneliness hide our silent cry. Still we are young at heart. Wearing a sexy smile the teens bash around!! During each phase learning expressing fighting is common. Only a few months after his dad's death, Daniel decides to leave his hometown to study in an art school at countryside. New ambience would surely help him deal with his dad's death, but what if it, instead, only gives him more issues to deal with? In his new school Daniel meets an illicitly good-looking guy, who seems almost too good to be true. It would have been a perfect beginning of the journey, if Daniel didn't have to share his dormitory flat with a bad-tempered and dishevelled roommate.. Like destiny it was meant to happen. It's poetic and symbolic how even though I read you that letter trying to save my marriage to him in the hospital it was you that ended up saving me in the end. It's poetic and symbolic how in spite of a world wide pandemic and lock down we always found each other and healed each others sadness. It wasn't my sobriety that I was scared to lose.
