A New Kind of Deal

Chella has always been alone. Not in the 'I am the only person left on this Earth' lonely, but the 'people are there, I just can't connect' lonely. Sure she has family and friends, but her family live on the other side of the country, and her friends are just the type of friends that you make small talk with and promise to get coffee together, but never get around to it. Not fitting in, but not standing out, she makes her way through life, just trying to make the day pass faster than it already does. Then, out of the blue, a stranger finds her, and asks her to make him a deal: A friend for her soul.
