Its so easy to do whatever we want.

Its so easy to party all night.

Its so easy to skip school.

Its so easy to break our parents' hearts.

Its so easy to make fun of our old, boring friends and treat people lower than us as outcasts.

Its so easy to drink, smoke, hook up and do everything our crazy mind can think of.

And if anyone disagrees with us, we can just shut them up with a simple "I don't care."

Like so many others teenagers, Ariana Jay thought so too.

So, this story has been added for the Young Writers' Short Story.

Bear with me because I came to know of this competition only one day before the deadline so I didn't have much time to edit it.

I request you to please spare some time to read this. It isn't like most stories about rebellion. Its about something that happens to thousands of young girls all around the world. I promise you, it'll be worth it.

And if you like it, please, please vote for it. It would be a wondrous thing if I could win this competition.

But that cannot be possible if you don't tap that little star up there. So tap it! ;)

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
