As a Junior, Salem Calhoun was more than ready to graduate and move on. He kept his head down, got good grades (for the most part), and spent most of his days attending his work-study job at the campus library. Most wouldn't describe him as quiet, but he definitely didn't speak unless spoken to. Around campus most students dodged him, his aura casted a sense to stay clear... and for a reason. Born and raised in Southern California Bailee Gibson was certain about one thing and one thing only: she had to go to The University of Texas Austin to play volleyball in college. Since she was 13 years old, she used volleyball to escape reality. As soon as she stepped on the court, her problems seem to disappear... Finally, she made it. She knew she had her work cut out for her, but she was determined now more than ever. Not just to continue her dream of becoming a collegiate D1 athlete, but to leave her past and her home behind her... she would do just about anything just to escape it. Soon, Salem finds himself coming to all of her games, and Bailee finds herself bringing him coffee to his late-night library shifts.
