This is a story based in The Walking Dead. 
Mackenzie is staying in Georgia with her sister, Lori Grimes, and her family while completing graduate school. However, when the dead begin to rise, she is forced to flee the city and learn to survive alongside her family. Everything she knows seems to be crumbling, that is, until Daryl Dixon comes into the picture.
