This saga is about two armies labeled Light and Dark. Both armies have different views on life and humility. The light focuses on establishing order in anyway possible, by exterminating the mystics, those born with magical abilities of any kind. The dark side believes in individualism and self expression, and those who are different are protected under their banner. This story is percieved from different views of two characters. Verath, The King of Ciron, He has been fighting the Imperial light armies for ages but now he is losing his hold on his home continent. Akira is a nomadic woman that allies with neither army, She avoids conflict unless it pursues her, she has a complicated past with the Light armies, but doesn't approve of the Dark armies lack of ethical boundaries when it comes to the innocent. A powerful woman with an even stronger moral compass, driven by a will to survive each day. In this story two sides fight for control over the continent of Rhova, Mystics vs. Humans, Dark vs. Light, each fueled by beliefs in a better tomorrow, but neither is willing to surrender. Follow Verath and Akira on their perspective paths as they learn about the magical past of the continent and make some meaningful relationships along the way. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Minor character illustrations will be added, in the future, they won't be perfect, because I am not by any means an artist, they're just to capture an essence of the characters, so please bear with me! :) This story is completed, but Grammar and spelling mistakes are possible, I take all criticism seriously and make note! but the story itself is done, I'm just editing it now and saving the changes, and if you have read some of the chapters in the early days of it's existence, I have tweaked most of the chapters so nothing is Identical, anyway, Please Enjoy! :) Hi! after a long absence I have returned to edit chapters and release book 2!

This is where the lines between hero and villain blur. Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom in the Rose Valley, there lived a young princess. Maybe a little proud. Maybe she was the sweetest princess. And maybe not. She had many suitors, but she did not accept a single proposal for her hand in marriage. She didn't want to become a king's wife, she wanted to be a queen and rule her country. But one day darkness crept into the happy kingdom. A thick fog crept through the forest. Shadows walked under the treetops. The Shadow Lord came to propose to Princess Luna. She rejected him like everyone else, despite the fact that he was the only one who managed to impress her. However, the Shadow Lord isn't about to give up so quickly. He presents a gift to the princess. For the rest of eternity, at the stroke of midnight, she will die and come back to life with the first rays of day. Again and again. Every night. An endless cycle. Because as the Shadow Lord said, "I will wait for you, even if it takes forever." Old wounds are being opened. The boundaries between worlds are blurring. Will a prince on a white horse arrive and bravely rescue a cursed princess or...?
