An 11-year-old girl named Traci gets lost in the woods during a camping trip but soon after she gets lost she realizes that she may not be on earth any more lots of strange things happen and she learns a lot of survival skills like how to fight Gremlins and how to make a fire that you can cook stuff on. later in the story, she finds a Mylon, a huge fluffy creature with huge ears and razor sharp claws, this one, on the other hand, has spotted that how spoty got his name. she befriends the mylon and it protects her.
