Beth gave me a comforting pat, "At least you'll be in Paris." She joked trying to lighten the mood. We stopped outside the small dent in the hallway where the two double doors to the auditorium were.
"See ya then." I waved at Beth as I walked over to the elevator to the lower annex. "Wait, Taryn."
"I stopped, "Yeah?"
"As cliche as this sounds, just remember that you and Karyn are individually special." I gave her a bland look, "Uh-huh." Beth was a lovely person and all but even she knew that Karyn was the queen in this stupid high school hierarchy and that left me in the place of the joker. Identical twins? Yeah right."
