Captain Cassius Delafour is a pirate, known to the citizens of Evermath only as "The Fury," wicked, fun loving, as handsome as he is reckless. Yet his charming and shallow-seeming demeanor disguises his true, steely nature.
Thrown together to their mutual dismay, it seems as though they will just have to put up with each other - for now. 
But matters are not all as they seem in Evermath, and Larkel, whose family is a staunch supporter of the king, discovers secrets that should never have seen the light of day..
