We (miowla1551 and -desolations) have collaborated to make this book club for writers who want critiques for their work.
How it works:
> Essentially, you will be assigned houses based on what you read/write and will be paired with another member of your house.
> You will read two chapters of your partners book and give proper, constructive criticism.
> You will not be forced to read content you are not comfortable with.
Warnings:
With that being said, we do not tolerate racist, transphobic or homophobic slurs and no unkindness over all. Any of that and you will be removed and reported.

Before you read the description of my book, I want to give a few quick disclaimers. The first one is that most of the chapters aren't very long, so the 60 chapters isn't as intimidating to read as it may seem. Second, my story does include the following things that some people may be uncomfortable reading. Cursing/Swearing. Violence, Sex Jokes, Homophobia, And child abuse. Specifically, Name calling, a few things thrown at the child, and scenes with violance against teens)I would give examples directly from the book that would make more sense, but I don't want to give any spoilers for future. I also wanted to say that there isn't anything like sex scenes or suicide, but this isn't for kids either. I won't be using the mature rating because it is not directly made for adults, or young kids. Again, it all depends on what you are aloud to read, or what you are comfortable with reading. Now with that out of the way, lets get to the description for the story itself. She never cared. That's what Hayden Hawksley thinks about his mother, and he wasn't wrong. After all of the years he was abandoned for Catherine's hook ups with men and bars he came to the realization that it wasn't to get money for the two of them, or to save up for something. Finally one day his mother gets tired of him being home due to his lack of friends and bullies and sends him to a Boarding school for kids in High School named: 'Emerald Boarding High'. On top of it all, her friend group seems to drift away from each other causing her to spiral with her thoughts because when it comes to those around you there are times where you think you really know someone but that's not always the case. New friendships arise and so does romance. Tension with her academics becomes more overwhelming than what she expected. Life is taking many turns, not just with her own life but with those around her as well. Read as everyone explores their own life secrets that they have kept in the dark from those around them.
