"Writing is a profession for intoverts who want to tell you a story, but don't want to make eye contact while doing it." -John Green Allona Ray Kahale is anything but extroverted. Her social anxiety prevents her from so many things- but she definitely will not let it get in the way of her writing career. Fresh out of high school, she moved into an off-campus apartment building and began her life as a writing major. During the school day, she makes sure to avoid eye contact with anyone she comes across. But, upon discovering an online writing community, she meets someone she felt no anxiety with. Of course she did initially, but all of her insecurities began to fade every moment she spent talking to him. Can this complete stranger help her become more confident in herself, and will the two ever meet? Of course, her anxiety isn't the only issue she faces. She'll have to navigate a life full of insecurity and obstacles higher than she can reach on her way to becoming a best selling author.
