Dead Psychotic

A plague sweeps the land, killing almost every dragon. A nightwing gets hit with a prophecy that their home will be saved. The prophet tries to tell anyone, but eventually gets eaten by the plague. Dragons swarm him, ripping at his flesh and tearing him apart in the sky. Screams echo in the valleys, scaring the remaining dragons deeper into hiding. Starfish, one of the dragons that wasn't infected, heard the screams. She was carrying an egg in her stomach when she was attacked, but luckily she lived. Her husband saved her life and their dragonet's. The egg was hatched, and out came a floppy little dragonet with brown and blue scales, chirping up at her infected mother.
