*Character's name and title aren't mine*
In a hardcore dramatic private highschool, grades only gain you entrance. Beyond that is a social hierarchy where the most eligible, handsomest, and cruelest bachelors rule all. All that matters is who you date, oh...and another thing...it's an all boys school!
Zaroff and his quiet childhood friend Ivan have been the heads of this hierarchy for an entire year now. In that year not one person has lasted more than two days with either of them. Zaroff sees it as his mission to break hearts, he enjoys it even.
Rainsford a transfer student, is an avid athlete, with high grades and no interest in dating, or getting involved in the school's hierarchy. Yet something about him draws Zaroff and Ivan's attention. However, they aren't the only one who's set their eyes on the new student.
"So then, what do you think of the school?"
"It's fine." Rainsford replied.
"Oh?" said the other student, a smirk tugging at the end of his lips.
"It's not quite what I expected, I mean...for a school with such tough exams I thought the other students would put more effort into their academics." Rainsford said not even looking at the other student. His gaze was fixated on the other students who were busy lifting weights.
"Well remember this school also has a tuition, it just so happens that all of us here are rich enough to pay it. You're the only kid who's passed the entrance exam and gets free tuition." Said the other student leaning back on the bleachers.
"Huh." Rainsford said passively, not really all that interested in the conversation or the information the other student had just presented.
"So do you plan on moving up the ranks?"
"Ranks?" said Rainsford contemplating what that could possibly mean.
"You know dating and stuff, work your up to king and all that glory." the other student replied.
"So your social rank in the school is decided by who you date? If you ask me that's a dangerous game." Rainsford said raising an eyebrow.
