As the end of the American Revolution drew near, several members of the army began to conspire to have their commander-in-chief, George Washington, take up leadership of the colonies and declare himself king. He shot down the idea, reeled in his officers, and, on Dec 4. 1783, disbanded the army. But what if he hadn't? What if Washington had become the first King of America, rather than the first President of the United States? What would history look like?
This is that story. A story of the King of America.
April 27, 2016:
After the death of his father, Prince Augustine Washington ascends to the throne and becomes King of America. As the fourth son, he received very little training for this and he is entirely unprepared, but the fate of the most powerful kingdom in the world rests in his hands.
Entangled in a war against terrorists overseas and a cold war across the border, and with elections for a new president quickly approaching, Augustine must decide what kind of king he is going to be. The balance of world power and the legacy of a two-hundred year old dynasty all rests on his shoulders.
What if American history turned out different? What if America had control of Canada just after independence? What if America owned Australia? All these & more were voted upon by my Discord server!
