"We could have been great together, Teach." Even though Byleth had chosen to teach the Black Eagles, the Golden Deer house leader Claude von Riegan won't stop bothering her. What seems to be a simple nuisance soon grows into a blossoming love...one quickly torn apart by the raging war that the Flame Emperor had started. "My teacher...I thank you listening to me." Edelgard von Hresvelg, the leader of the Black Eagles themselves, and seemed to be a very refined and concise woman. Yet, as the year continues, Byleth continues to find out many more secrets about the empire and the church. Edelgard soon began to rely on her more than ever, and a small kiss soon sends Byleth into a turmoil of emotions. Before Byleth can process it, war is waged by the Flame Emperor, and Byleth loses consciousness in the midst of the chaos. When Byleth awakens from her five year slumber, the turmoil of the world has only grown stronger. Now, her and Claude are on opposing sides. Now Edelgard herself has admitted to her own feelings for Byleth, and she finds herself tumbling indecisively with no way out. So as Claude starts to hang around with his professor he starts to realize how it feels to truly care and love someone.. A Fire Emblem Three Houses high school vampire AU. Byleth is used to her father's job causing them to move suddenly, and has to start her senior year at a new school, Garreg Mach. Typically a loner, she doesn't expect to make new friends at a private academy, where everyone seems to already know everyone, but on the first day, she takes an interest in Hubert, while his friend Edelgard takes an interest in her. Byleth quickly finds herself growing close to both of them, unsure of her developing feelings for Hubert. She doesn't have any romantic experience, and Hubert is not only a strange guy, but also so close to Edelgard that it's hard to figure out what their relationship actually is. Not to mention her confusion where her own relationship with Edelgard is concerned... Amidst all of this, there are rumors floating around town regarding a strange series of killings. People say that the attacks look like the work of a vampire, and as Byleth's classmates begin to buy into these rumors, they start rumors of their own, involving one of Byleth's new friends. Hubert is strange, sure, but...a vampire? She doesn't want to believe it, because, after all, vampires don't exist. Main pairing is FByleth x Hubert x Edelgard x Ferdinand, with the OT4 being a rather slowburn.
