~"I never said I was fine..." I sighed slightly. Dominic placed his hands on my hips and pulled me close into his chest. We stared into each other's eyes with wonder. "Well I want you to be." He put one hand behind my neck and brought our lips together.~ The sun can't rise for Ryder Kaiona. Ryder has Xeroderma pigmentosum, also known as XP. It means he can't go in the sun. He is covered in what look like freckles, but are really a disease. He is ashamed of it and embarrassed, he takes online school and his only friends are his Sister and Mom, who both have work and can't stay home with him. His Sister Alexa brings over a group of friends, and that's where it all starts. His curtains must always be shut, the windows are always closed, and the lights are always very dim. Ryder hasn't seen the sun in what seems like years. He longs to see the sun once more but knows that if he gets outside... terrible things will happen.
