"Congratulations, you have earned 5,000 Life Points for turning a Faded in. Thank you for your dedication to the restoration scheme, it is truly admirable. Stay happy and remember, a smile a day keeps the darkness at bay!"

The world is fading into darkness. The mysterious natural phenomenon "Fade" is draining colour and life from the lands and the people, plunging the Earth into a murky grey existence. How to counteract it or slow its effects? Don't worry, be happy! The restoration scheme is here to save the day! Designed to help the world achieve true happiness, the scheme has overrun society with the belief that the happier you are, the slower the fade. On the outside, it is the perfect plan, but if you look closer, there is something desperate hiding beneath the people's smiles.

As Mina Alvarsson starts to fade, she begins to realise that perhaps the restoration scheme may not humanity's saving grace, but their downfall. Friends turn on friends in the name of saving humanity. And in a world where nobody wants to listen, and where populations are blinded by science, will humanity survive in the end or are they destined to fade?

The Colour Of My Fate (Completed) di GarryDnovelist
34 parti Completa
Five men from different parts of the world tried committing suicide at the exact same time after going through certain hardships and ugly circumstances in their various lives. They were fed up with life and felt that there was no point to continue living. So, suicide was their only option to escape reality. As each of them was about to commit their own form of suicide, a mystical being suddenly appeared individually to them. These beings or entities were also five in number, just like the men. The mystical beings, all wearing long hoodie-type cloths that slightly covered their feet and of many different colors matching their skin tones, proposed a solution to each of the men, telling them that there is a way to change their fate for the better. Each of those men was very much terrified when they encountered these mystical beings, which looked like elves in appearance, but they accepted their offer, which they saw as a chance of changing their fate. The mystical beings did not actually tell them the way to change their fate but opened a rainbow multidimensional portal and all said the same thing, which is "FOLLOW ME IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR FATE," with a hand gesture signaling "follow me" towards the man they are individually with. These men did not hesitate but followed them through the portal with the mindset that they didn't have anything to lose by doing so, and they saw it as a chance of gaining salvation. In other words, a chance to be saved from their present predicament or situation and being improved or made new circumstantially. They don't know what awaits them on the other side they are entering, but as the story unfolds, it will all be revealed. _________________________________ INCLUDES: *Mystical elves *A mystical god *Romance *Multi-protagonist Start Date: 12/27/2023 End Date: 02/17/2024 Word Count: 62K Genres: Fantasy, Drama and Psychological © 2023 [First Edition]

37 parti Completa Per adulti

I'm lost. Broken. And nobody knows. I help people, and when you help people, you don't get help. I couldn't look at myself think how a mess I was. It was too late for me to be fixed. Nobody could help me. I was too deep in it for being saved. I had too many scars and thought. I already had a broken mind. When I tried to kill myself and failed at it, they brought me to a mental facility. There I meet other teens with different stories and each with their problems. The longer I'm here, the more stories I get the knowledge. We come together to tell our stories so that we can move on from what hurt us in the past and what waits for us in the future. We're all strangers, but we're all living in this messed-up place call life. So can we overcome our broken minds. -2014-
