A NIGERIAN THEMED NOVEL

"You have got your tities out and panties in a twist but your crush doesn't still notice you."

Ore is a sixteen-year-old undergraduate of the university of Portharcourt. Before she entered year one, she was that shy, reclusive and sweet girl everyone wanted to be friends with. But as soon as she pays her acceptance fee and moves her things to the school hostel, Ore is no longer that miss goody two shoes.

Dami is a third year student of the same university and he doesn't give two fucks about under age girls. They were never a center of attraction for him. Infact, he loathes them with passion. Dami is absolutely content with his sexually provocative lifestyle and he certainly doesn't need any of the problems that comes along with knowing Ore.

With the wrong crowd cheering Ore on, will she be able to get Dami's attention? Or will her life keep on revolving in circles of endless passion and peer pressure.

Side note: The sequel to this book titled Lies, Love and Deception is out now and is on my profile. Kindly go view, thanks ❤️

                      *. * . *

The Wrong Crowd is one of the best Nigerian books I've ever read. It's totally uncliche and cliche in a hazy interesting way but then, it was just the tip of the iceberg - @Semiloore_

"I dare you to kiss the girl on your right." The girl on the right. . . my sleep deprived mind made out sluggishly. Girl on the right, it repeated again and my eyes flew open, all atom of sleep disappearing from them. I was the girl on the right! *** Bullied for the colour of her skin ever since she could remember, Olayinka doesn't know what it means to be accepted. She's called trash and treated as an outcast all because of the school's resident bad boy and top bully, Kian Fields. Senior year starts with Kian suddenly becoming very nice and naive Olayinka, unaccustomed to this type of attention and desperately wishing for acceptance, begins to fall for him. That is, until Jayden Ross enters the equation. Jayden is nerdy, wears ugly glasses and is definitely not Olayinka's kind of guy. But as he aids Olayinka in standing up for herself, she can't help but be drawn to his shy and gentle exterior. With Kian showering his attention on her and Jayden, who looks out for her all the time, Olayinka is attracted to both of them. Could this be her very own love triangle or is it just in her head? But maybe, just maybe she'll finally be able to live as any other teen her age would, worrying about boys and perhaps she'll finally be considered normal. *** Second Place in Teen Fiction Category for The Undiscovered Awards 2020*** ***Feautured in Wattpad Ambassador NG reading list*** ***First Place in Teen Fiction Category for The Evergreen Awards*** ***Third Place in Teen Fiction Category for The Faith Awards***

"Pleaseee...abeg, don't start this morning oo! It won't be funny" I threatened. "And what are you gonna do about it baby?" He smirked, whispering the last word in my ear. Goosebumps arose on my skin like a mass army and the class felt suddenly cold. What the hell is happening? Why do I feel so...so... prickly? "Christ Simi" Nana whispered, wide eyed in shock, "I just called you baby and you are gushing all over. I knew you loved me" "I'm not blushing! Why would I blush because of that? Abeg shift joor" I said and hissed, then turned back to solving my past questions (which I wasn't concentrating on because I kept hearing that stupid word in my ear) "C'mon baby, you know you like me. You are just too shy and proud to admit it" he said again. "I don't like you Nana, is it that hard to get? Besides, reserve that name for your girlfriend" ********** Similola Adams is happy being back to school in the final term of the final year. Unfortunately, things are not going as she planned as she experiences cane on her first day and goes into an insult battle with her arch enemy. Then the worse of all... She has to sit with the most arrogant and snobbish boy in class who is also her archenemy for the rest of the term. "Teenage relationships are fake." That's what most people say. They think it's just drama, temporary attraction, and silly heartbreaks. But sometimes... teenage love can be more pure, more intense, and more real than anything else. This story is about that kind of love. In this book, you'll see how different two people can be .. not just in background, but in how they see the world. The girl belongs to a rich family. She's bold, smart, and knows what she wants. The boy comes from a middle-class home. He's calm, simple, and scared of getting into something as confusing as love. Still, destiny brings them together. They're both toppers, both talented, both teenagers. But when it comes to love .. their thoughts don't match. She falls first .. slowly, softly. And he falls later .. but when he does, he falls harder than ever. This story is not about perfect people. It's about real emotions, silent stares, late-night thoughts, innocent fights, handwritten letters, and unspoken promises. It's about teenage love .. raw, messy, honest. You'll laugh with them. You'll cry with them. You'll smile at their small wins and feel your heart ache at their misunderstandings. Because this book isn't just about romance. It's about growing up, falling for someone when you least expect it, and learning that love doesn't care about status, fear, or timing. So welcome to this journey. A journey where she fell first... and he fell harder. A beautiful, imperfect, unforgettable teenage love story.

After a long anticipated party hosted by one of the most popular boys in school, a rumour goes round the entire school and gets the names of the two least expected classmates, in the mouths of the entire population of Castron High. One word: Madness. 𝑫𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒊 𝑶𝒓𝒋𝒊 - a major 'outcast', a girl who barely escaped being at the full disadvantaged end of the Social hierarchy, because she was saved, hidden, and protected under the wings of one of the most highly placed cliques in her set - realises that as a result of this ridiculous and unexpected rumour, she may just be about to bite more than she can chew. Unspeakable dares are passed on. Sealed pledges are made, the worst of pairs are forced to match-make, secrets are revealed, the mystery behind the strangest, most unusual people are discovered, and the most dangerous games are played when the notorious gang boys/hoodlums, known for terrorising the school come into the whole story, thirsty for blood. Most alarming yet, an outcast who has always been the centre of attention for the wrong reasons and a damaged playboy with narcissistic traits dare to fall in love in a world that forbids them to. In the end, all that's left to realise it that every teenager is one way broken and needs saving. ❦︎ In a world where home is equivalent to Hell, and Highschool is a society, reeking of vanity, where social hierarchy is the order of the day, and the madness to maintain status quo is a much bigger deal than it should be, anyone is bound to lose their goddamn mind. Two broken teenagers, living the same unbearable reality, and struggling to know who they are, find solace, and a means of escape, with each other. But is it really worth it?
