This is a sequel to A Surprise and A Betrayal. If you haven't read that story go check it out first. Because it's a sequel, you won't understand most of the things happening here if you haven't read A Surprise and A Betrayal first. Hope you'll enjoy both the stories.

Alec is immoral now and living a happy life with his husband. Simon and Izzy are engaged to be married and they have a great news coming ahead, a former member of their group is soon going to be a shadowhunter. Everything's going perfect and they all are living happily. But how long does their happiness going to last?
Little does the group knows that everything's about to turn upside down and they are about to face the biggest threat they have ever encountered. A dark shadow is lurking above their heads ready to tear them into pieces. How will they handle this new threat? Will they succeed in winning this battle or will they die fighting?
