Fiona Decker was not your typical teenager. She was placed in the states custody from the time she was born; due to her mothers excessive drug use. From the moment she came into this world, she had to fight for her life.
She does her best to find beauty in the darkness, despite the abuse she's received from over the years. Sexual, physical and mental.....you name it, she's endured it.
She was never adopted out; nobody seemed to want her. She didn't understand why at first. But then she came to realize that the state didn't care who took her in, and that the reason the majority of the fosters who took her in, did it solely for the paycheck.
Now she is 17 years old and shortly after a traumatic event she is placed with a new family. The Hayes...
This may be the last chance she gets to try and find a family before she is put out on the streets.
However, things get twisted when it turns out that the very parents taking her in also belong to Franklyn High's very own Golden Boy Mason Hayes. The hottest guy in school; the one who leads the football team to state three years in a row.
