Six months ago, Lena Zapata's journalist mother was killed. Angry and grieving, she tries to navigate her last year of school, but it's not easy when everyone around her is pushing her to move on. The problem is, Lena has no clue how to do that and is clinging onto the only thing her mum left her - a weathered map to a place she promised to take her to someday. When Antonio, her classmate and someone she can't stand, finds the map after it slips out her locker, he begins asking questions she'd rather not answer. So why can't she stop thinking about him? And why is he always around?

Antonio Oleski has a hard time trusting people. After being burnt so many times in the past, pushing everyone away seems like the easiest - and safest - option. After crossing paths with Lena, a girl he's gone to school with for years, he's having a hard time sticking to that. Antonio knows that she's highly explosive and the closer he gets, the more likely he's going to get destroyed, but he can't seem to walk away. Lena's one wish is to finally visit the destination marked on her map and Antonio is determined to make that happen. Will Lena destroy him? Or will they find a way to work together?
