'Well, may. You know that's whet life is all about right? Neurosis, capitalism, war, death, face book and my space' Rez said
Alex sat next to a boy who had his arm slung across her shoulders, she looked sick and nauseated, her attention was captured by something and Bruce looked to see what it was. A girl with fire red hair was walking by the table with a few girls following in tow. She gave Alex a smile that ran his blood cold. Alex turned back to the table and put on one of her well known fake smiles. *sneak peak for chap 8* (i'm so BAD)

The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! What makes you believe I am not the rebel leader?" He looked at me annoyingly."Well for one thing you're a girl" I was completely enraged! "How sexist! You think that just because I'm not a man I can't be a leader! People like you disgust me! It sickens me that I even looked up to you as a child! I idolized you! Followed you everywhere! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall. I was stuck with no other way out. "Safiya...Safiya Zahra." The Pharaoh's smile instantly turned into a frown. "That's impossible!" Well I think its safe to say he remembers me. "I was the one who killed you."

"And lo, the beast looked upon the face of beauty, and beauty stayed his hand. And from that day forward, he was as one dead." Carl Denham ***** As Marco and i approach the table, Nick comes up behind us. I walk to my usual place next to Marco. Nick walks to his usual place as well and holds out the chair on his right. "You sit here from now on" he announces for everyone to hear, as he looks at me. "I am fine where i am thank you very much" I respond. I remember very well how last time he didn't want me there because Rhea was here. No thanks. You can save it for her. "I wasnt asking" He says drawing unnecesary attention to us with everyone here. "Well good. Because i'm never sitting there, ever! Isnt that Rhea's chair? You made that very clear last time" i retort. I know am being petty infront of everyone, but i dont care. He started it. I would rather sit on the floor than occupy his "mistress' "chair Nick surprises me by smiling. I expected him to get angry or something, especially that i'm defying him in front of everyone. So now i'm not sure whether to feel relieved or scared. He walks up to me and my eyes widen, What is he up to? I'm already sitting down, but he pulls my chair out effortlessly and pulls me up. I stand up in shook and watch him carry the chair i was occupying next to his. He pulls out the one Rhea occupied and replaces it with the one he just took... "There, you can either sit here or on my lap, those are your only options, its up to you" he says turning to look at me again with a poker face. No expression. Zero. I turn to look at everyone at the table, and they are all looking at me expectantly. I look back at Nick and he is the only other person standing. "Shall i choose for you?" He smirks finally. ***** #1 in Lovers (20/12/2021) #1 in New (24/03/2022) #1 in Passion (15/07/2022) Books by Bellamerce Book 1: Only For You Book 2 :When Stars Align Book 3: Fire On Fire Book 4: Diamond Hearts Book 5: A Crystal Love

Being in love with your best friend isn't the ideal life situation but for Zora, it's her only life situation. Secretly harboring her feelings for her best friend, Sierra, Zora pours her emotions into her journal in the form of poetry. After years of keeping her attraction for her friend at bay and trying to deny her feelings by forcing herself to love a boy who unconditionally loves her, Zora's favorite emotional outlet becomes the cause of her life falling apart as the truth finally comes out. ***** It was happening again. It was dark, sunset, I waited for her to be done with volleyball practice 'because she was my ride'. Somehow we wandered from the gym to the football field and we were sitting at the very top of the bleachers staring at each other. Her dark hair mirrored the direction of the wind, the setting sun being replaced by the brightness of her smile. We were sitting so close I could feel her warmth. It was an unusual situation. Friends don't do this. We held eye contact for a long time before I couldn't take it anymore and just closed my eyes. It wasn't real, she was just my friend. Then, I felt her tuck a strand of my curly hair behind my ear. That with the chill of the night sent shivers down my spine and a swarm of butterflies attacked my stomach. I reopened my eyes. If she didn't want me, why did she look at me that way? I held her hand and I held it for so long because I didn't know if we'd have another moment like this. We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable. I look into her dark-colored eyes and I come to the conclusion that I'm royally fucked and I'm probably also in love.
