Hermione Granger had felt safe going on the run, knowing she'd be with Harry and Ron. She would be with them... wouldn't she? When a terrified Hermione gets separated from her friends she manages to find someone oddly familiar. Can they help each other or will everything become worse than before? AN: this is a dramione slowburn with a little subtle romione fluff at the start, please let me know what you think :) AN2: this is set during the deathly hallows when harry, ron and hermione are horcrux hunting, both are over the age of 16 (age of consent in uk, where the story is set)

"Hermione granger is undoubtedly the most irritatingly opinionated, patronizing, overbearing, excruciatingly optimistic ad self righteous human being I've ever met but there's something about her that draws you in, something golden." -D.M. This fic will begin during fifth year, will follow Draco's initiation and journey of being a death eater and follow through post battle of Hogwarts. It will loosely follow some canon events (timelines/dates may not be identical). Please take time to read the tags, while this story does contain some lighter moments and humor it does have a darker tone to it.
