Persona 5.5: A Hero's Tale is a side-story that takes place during the events of the real Persona 5. A boy named Hakaru Yumasu wants to get away from it all, but his new life in Tokyo is harder than it seems. There's plenty of adults who are out to ruin lives just for the sake of their twisted desires. When the newly-formed Phantom Thieves changed the heart of a abusive gym teacher named Kamoshida, Hakaru wishes he could be a Phantom Thief himself. Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it...

Of Phantoms and Thieves
The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker, AKA, Ren Amamiya, is not in a good mood. It's been a year after the events that happened in Persona 5, and trouble has struck. Ren's parents have been arguing, and now they are getting a divorce. To find his own peace, Ren decides to return to Cafe Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. But things seem to get worse, as he gets in arguments and finally decides to be a shut-in. The Phantom Thieves try to reach out to him, but nothing seems to be able to get to Ren. With a little bit of help, the group of teens manage to access the Metaverse that has reformed once again. And to their surprise, they discover a palace. A palace who the ruler is none other than Ren Amamiya himself. I don't own Persona 5 or any of its characters. Artwork displayed is not mine unless otherwise stated. (In this A.U, the events of Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble never occured. This is because I started writing this before it was even released, and I don't want to go back and rewrite this whole story. Nolan Woods is an Australian transfer student to Shujin Academy, his parents ended up passing away due to the mental shutdown incidents, causing him to live with Tae Takemi above the clinic in a similar situation to Ren Amamiya, the only difference is that Nolan doesn't have an assault charge. Filled with determination to find out about the mental shutdown incidents, Nolan Works with the Phantom Thieves to uncover the mystery behind the mental shutdowns and the evil that's causing it. Disclaimer: I don't claim ownership for Persona 5, Nolan Woods is my own character. However, I will add specific enemies for Nolan to fight against throughout the story to make things interesting.
