Persona 5.5: A Hero's Tale is a side-story that takes place during the events of the real Persona 5. A boy named Hakaru Yumasu wants to get away from it all, but his new life in Tokyo is harder than it seems. There's plenty of adults who are out to ruin lives just for the sake of their twisted desires. When the newly-formed Phantom Thieves changed the heart of a abusive gym teacher named Kamoshida, Hakaru wishes he could be a Phantom Thief himself. Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it...

But I never lose sight of the real reason why I'm using them. We get closer and closer, and Ren Amamiya, the leader of the group, peaks my interest. With the first target, Kamoshida, Ann had the feeling of revenge to get back at the man who caused so much pain to her best friend. Even after defeating Kamoshida, negative feelings still lingered within Ann's mind. She cast them aside and contunued to grow stronger for her dear friend. Her strength showed with the process of taking Madarame down. However, there was one blockde in her mind that she couldn't understand. She constantly worked on making her own heart strong, but had no luck. That was until a new transfer student came along the way and caught her attention.....
