Blaire Pierce is Katherine Pierce's little sister from Bulgaria. She travels over to New Orleans to meet the very own original family that screwed with her big sister and had the Salvatores kill her in a tragic fire that cost Stefan's life. So in return she warns the Mikaelsons by staking Rebekah in the chest and tells them her plan to kill Hope Mikaelson and end their ruthless bloodline for good. When Blaire arrives at the Salvatore Boarding School she is faced with their headmaster Alaric Saltzman and threatens him to give Hope to her in which Hope sacrifices herself to protect Alaric and in doing so she faints and Blaire takes her to Katherine's old friend/old lover who will help Blaire get rid of Hope Mikaelson forever
