Shouko-Mei Ishida has lived a life of pure curiosity, as her parents continue hiding a secret from her. Her mother refuses to face her. Her father, who is always apologizing to her for what seems to be no reason.
They have never told her how they met or anything about their childhoods. All they tell her is;
"You'll find out when you're older."
