Chickens are the most hopeless creatures. However, this particular group of chickens are extremely incompetent. After trying, and trying, AND TRYING, the road is littered with dead birds. But what happens when one chicken makes it?
"They came up with many more cunning schemes: a chicken chain, a disguise and a tunnel. The first resulted in SPLAT! The second resulted in quite a few SPLATS as well as a horrified driver, who had thought he had killed someone dressed in a long coat and trousers. The final idea, didn't result in SPLAT! But instead quite a few broken beaks as concreate is difficult to dig through when you're a chicken."

There's Crows In The Garden | 3rd Life AU
When Martyn was fifteen, he saw his first crow. The two stared at each other for a second- the bird's beady black eyes versus Martyn's green ones- and then the crow tipped its head, spread its wings, and flew off. Not long after, Martyn's mother came down with a sudden illness and passed away. Ever since then, Martyn's been traveling the land. If a crow shows up in the place he's in, he leaves as quickly as possible. They mean misfortune, he's puzzled out, so he shouldn't stick around when they're near. How it Happened
So, I'm kinda clumsy. I tripped when I walked across the stage to receive my high school diploma, knocked down a ladder that was supporting my dad, and sneezed into a wall. Yup, you read that right. I sneezed myself into a wall. So maybe I am a walking train-wreck trapped in a lanky twenty-two-year-old girl's body. At least my family loves me-tolerates me might be a better way of phrasing it-but even with my clumsiness I'm still able to get by with minimal craziness and just a whole lot of embarrassment. A whole lot. That is until the fateful September day I find myself chasing a chicken into a wedding cake. My sister's wedding cake. . . on her wedding day. . . in the middle of the reception. . . in front of two hundred other guests. I've got a new number one on my list of embarrassing moments, but this time I swear it wasn't my fault. I blame that chicken, my grandma, and the stupid bowtie she put on it, probably hoping to marry me off, so she can have the best man all to herself. Me and The Monkey: Chronicles of the Monkey God
Well, there's this talking monkey who won me in a game of Othello in a coffee shop in Amsterdam. He came back to Cornwall with me and has become a prolific reader and dabbler in magic. He also has past life flash backs - the most prominent of which are the Nam special forces ones. We have partially deceased girlfriends who apparently eat dead bodies. The Monkey created a sort of black hole in the spare bedroom and now we have a team of nerds investigating it and trying to stop 'things' coming out of it. A bunch of Oriental hit men who appear to believe he is a god attempted to steal The Monkey's magic lolly pop sticks, but he managed to blow them up in their caravan. We are off to Cambodia in search of a temple from which came a monkey faced pendant with glowing eyes and we seem to have upset an international cabal who are out to get us. Oh, and did I mention that The Monkey likes a cigar and we regularly get very drunk on Jack Daniels... Interested? Perplexed? Worried? Come on in and join the fun.
