Haily, an eleven year old girl has her parents stolen away from her by death and is forced into an orphanage with only her little brother and their mothers necklace too remind them of their past. Yet she refuses to let anyone call their last name, insisting that it wasn't important. After almost a year of the same old routine of waking up ,eating ,studying, sleeping, a strange woman comes to the orphanage and picks them out from the crowd, telling them they're special ,more special then anyone there.....but theres a catch: she would only take one of them and they only had a week to decide who it would be.In that short time they face jealousy,hatred and more. The siblings stumble upon secrets that were never meant to be discovered.
