NOTHING absolutely nothing can beat best friends to lovers, the angst? unmatched. the longing? heart breaking. the history? the jealousy? it's always been you? you're my favorite person? i know you better than anyone else? nah enemies to lovers could NEVER _________________________________ Iris spent sixteen years in love, believing in forever-until a single message shattered her world. The boy she grew up with, the one she called home, not only abandoned her but made sure she felt every ounce of his betrayal. With no family to turn to and grief consuming her, she saw only one escape. No reason to keep breathing. That night, silence stretched too long. Her best friend, Ivan, knew something was wrong. He had loved her from the moment they met, but nothing could have prepared him for what he found. Blood. A fading pulse. A girl who had given up. But was he too late? As he picks up the broken pieces of the girl he's always wanted, she begins to heal. Slowly, she starts to feel again. But is it love-or just the desperate need to hold on to the only one who stayed? A story of heartbreak, healing, and the fine line between love and loneliness.
